Elisabet Iserte López was born 1992 in Barcelona, where she started playing cello at the age of 8 with the inspiration of her teachers Eulàlia Nosàs and Arnau Tomàs. At 19 she moved to Bremen (Germany) to begin her Bachelor studies of music at the Hochschule für Künste. She recieved impulses from many cellists as Johannes Krebs, Tanja Tetzlaff and David Grigorian, among others.
After finishing the studies in June 2016 her many musical engagements took her to Berlin, where she currently lives. She plays regularly with many orchestras and chamber music ensembles throughout Germany as the Dogma Chamber Orchestra and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. Elisabet plays a cello made 2009 by Robert Brewer Young in France.
Since her cultural motivations go beyond the cello playing, Elisabet is currently studying her second Bachelor studies in Communication Sciences and collaborating as cultural manager with artists agencies. Additionaly she founded 2017 her own Chamber Music Festival with Summa Ensemble in Spain.
